Sculpt is a boutique fitness studio in St. Petersburg, Russia. The studio’s mission is to create a welcoming space for all fitness levels with an emphasis on low impact group classes.
For Sculpt’s logomark, I wanted to hint at the process of sculpting and forming a new shape. I began with a circle to convey a positive, inclusive message. The result is this two-piece mark that hints at a smile.
The logotype is inspired by calligraphic text, which adds a 3D element to the letterforms while contributing a distinct, memorable detail to the type.
The pattern is comprised of multiple organic shapes and circles. The different shapes represent how our bodies come in all different shapes and sizes. The circles are a callback to the logo and represent Sculpt’s mission for inclusivity.
